Lodge #1 is located just off Hwy. 79 on Winewood Road.

Office hours are Monday and Thursday  from
8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

 Cards will NOT be sent to Precincts this year due to increased number of lost cards.

 You must call the Lodge (853-6610)Monday or Thursday and we will mail your card.

 

 

Monthly meetings are the first Tuesday of each month. 

Supper served at 6:00 PM. 

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #1 was originally established by a small group of police officers.

Today, our membership consists of municipal, county, state and federal officers. With over 1000 members, F.O.P. Lodge #1 is the largest in the state of Alabama. We were the first lodge to organize in this state and we are an independent body that conducts its own business.

We are law enforcement officers striving to improve our profession through better working conditions, wages, benefits, and legislation.

To become a member of the Active Lodge, you must be a law enforcement officer with arrest powers. We also have an Associate Lodge that consists of citizens who are interested in helping law enforcement efforts by supporting our goals.
